Seriously if you dont like the price dont buy it you dont like rogers get screwed by another company its all the same i have worked for rogers for 3 years and its all the same cell phone companies will always find a way to screw you if its not rogers then its telus if not telus then its bell its all the same. so stop complaining its not going ot change anything. There are plenty of entry level plans that work just fine nobody ever said you had to buy an iphone.

Bah, stop complaining. New Zealand has what must be the worst cellphone rates in the developed world (and maybe even the world, first, second and third).

Converting that to NZ$, I'd get about the same price for a plan with about 1/10 the text messages (which I don't use, by and large), with double the data and double the minutes. There's no such thing as 'unlimited' weekends over here, so that'd be a huge improvement.

Is it massively better? Not really. Is it still an improvement? Yep. Well, unless you text a lot.

Sounds like Rogers is the sole GSM provider? Same here. Until the end of the year or so. Thank god Vodafone was 'dissuaded' from locking handsets.

This is a joke.. I'm From Canada and was going to love and thought Apple would have forced Rogers into a unlimited cheap rate.. Well now I blame Apple for not protecting its buyers..

And again people think 65 is cheap please add the access fee taxes and since there is not even caller id and such and not enough txt messages u want the essentials pack that is not listed and in the end ur paying 120+ if not more.....

Laughing stock of the data world? Perhaps.

But here in the US where you pay $0.20-0.25 per SMS without a plan the data pricing doesn't look so bad.

Admittedly, the voice component is puzzling to say the least. 150 minutes of talk time (for a month) while paying $60 for that privilege is obscene.

Any plans for users that already have voice plans with (long) contract?

Complain all you want...nothing seems to change here...guess iPhone will just remain just a dream for many of us..

You guys could have reformatted the table to make it easier to read but it doesn't seem terrible. Low-end plan for $60 allows ~12MB/day with unlimited texting. Figure most will opt for $75 or $100 plans with more voice and data and getting 1 gig a month of data isn't something to complain about.
