At first MobileMe didn't work for me either. I sat at my laptop and entered a bunch of contacts, sat back and waited for them to appear on my iPhone and instead they disappeared, like magic! Started cussin and hurling blame at Apple. THEN I went and read every single step in the excellent online help and found out I had my settings set to do exactly what it did. It wiped my new contacts out and synced my laptop to what was in the cloud. I needed to reverse the flow, reentered everything, told the CLOUD to sync with my laptop, and wow! Everything worked. So, once I eliminated the idiot operator, MobileMe started working, and has been flawless since. Not saying any of you have that problem, but I AM saying that a lot of people posting on these blogs have no idea how MobileMe works! Because of that iDisk is in reality unusable as a wedbased disk for us here in Europe.
