The white pages app is pretty cool. There's an awesome Yellow Pages app, too.

Sean, this sound like a memory issue I was having. Just hold down the home and power buttons for 10 seconds and all your apps should work again. More details in my blog post, Reset your iPhone's memory: http://www.chucksmith.de/?p=18

@sean peters:

The problem you describe with 3rd party apps (an issue I also have) is said to have an official fix coming this month along with the iTunes update in the form of an iPhone firmware update. Let's hope it fixes this problem, as opposed to introducing more.

Interesting... but call me when 3rd party apps actually work reliably (9 September?). I have about 15 installed, but only about 5 actually work - the rest crash on startup.

This is a great post. I have actually noticed over the last few days that I had a lot of App updates on my iPhone and went looking for some new apps and they are all over the place. It is weird how it seems Apple just decides to suddenly release a lot of apps and updates all at the same time. This will certain come into play in my iPhone 3G Review.
