I have the 1phone S and when I hit send it comes up asking me to reduce the size which I do then it disappears and it doesn't seem to send the photo. I have tried to send it to myself and it never comes through. What am I doing wrong?? It wont just let me hit send.

After pushing the send button, I get a message indicating that the size of the message is 2.8 MB and I can reduce message size by resizing the pciture. I’m forced to select from one of four options (small, medium, large, actual size). Regardless of which tab I touch, I’m returned back to the camera roll with that same picture on my screen. No e-mail is sent regardless of what I do. I’m basically back at the beginning of the e-mail a photo process.

Anyone know what is going in with the strange loop?" .... everyone is asking and no-one is answering

I press send , it asks me what size, i choose the size then it all disappears. So now what. I tried it 20 times, always the same result.

Yes, you can send multiple pictures but again you are limited by the space.

Go to photos > camera roll > hit the arrow on the left > select pictures desired > press the "share" button > select email then just add the emails who you would like to send the pics to

When trying to send a photo from Camera Roll, I get an error msg saying:

Cannot Send Mail A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient "(intended e-mail address) was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying.

I have sent them previously with no problem. Any help is appreciated.

my phone used to let me do that, but now when i go to send it, the only options i get are mms, assign to contact, use as wallpaper and print. i want to be able to email though and it doesn't come up as an option anymore as of today and i can't figure out why.

I used to send pictures using my iphone and selected actual size - about 1MB usually - all of a sudden my yahoo account only receive a 1 or 2 KB size grainy photo. How can I go back to getting a higher res image?

I had trouble with tis situation and I am very computer litrate. I have just always use nokia palm and blackberry so as intuitive as iPhone is to people that have never used there products before well sometimes we get stuck. Mean I can rebuild a windows based computer as well as totally clean up a virus contaminated operating system but apple is new to me. And not always better so I am glad people post these tips. So give us a breAk when we try to learn something new

I have one problem sending pictures to an email. The picture always shows up in the email turned the wrong direction. Instead of showing up in the portrait landscape, it is always in a landscape. In other words, it's turned sideways. What causes this?

If you email it only allows up to 5 images, but if you mms them, you can select up to 9 at a time. But I don't follow Jones proceedure on e-how. I go to the camera roll (photos) and select the folder roll in the upper right, I select my images, hit the share but if you go over 5 images then the email prompt don't show with the MMS and when you go over 9, then the share button shades out and won't function. Enter another phone number to send to another phone or enter an email address and hit send. You can also email photos to your phone vi mms text message. I use ATT service and enter my phone (#)@mms.att.net and I receive images from my computer to my text. Total images must be under 1 meg in size to keep from being rejected/cut out of the text message. I use ms out-look and I insert into the pics into the body of the email page, it will be removed if it's attached. I Don't know about Verizon service. Never had to use a mms app as mention earlier of this thread and the copy and pasting feature. Emailing must be configured to your email account setting if you send from other provider access. It must have a password to forward from another network access.

When I follow your instructions to email a photo from my iphone, I get a pop up message that says "This message is 780 KB. You an reduce message size by scaling the image to one of the sizes below." It then lists 3 size choices and a 4th for Actual. Assuming you chose one and hit send. However, that does not launch the email. Not sure what I am doing wrong or where to go from there to get photo sent.

SMS is so 1999, MMS is much more powerful. I still remember receiving the 1st MMS and it was very nice. But back then email via mobile data network was very expensive. I guess it's being replaced by emails these days.

Hello, the step by step guide is very straight forward but the bit where it says that once i click on "email photo" and a blank email will pop up behind/infront of the picture.... that doesnt happen on my phone... my picture shrinks and thats it... i dont even have any options! why is it doing that? thanks

I like the native app but use fo2go when I want to send multiple pics to the same group of people. I just select contacts or a group and then can send multiple pics without having to set up a separate email every time.

I'm a little sceptical that someone who cannot work out how to send a photo from their 'new' iPhone, can then get on their computer and find this site to assist them in the step by step process. I simply mean that the steps on an iPhone are as intuitive (or more) than searching for this article.

I personally think this article is meant for SEO purposes and/or the author could not think of anything challenging to write.

But then that's just my 2 cents. I Googled this page to help a 'new iPhone user' who is out of town, I'm sticking with Android for the time being.

I would truly appreciat any assistance or advice that you could give me. I am following all of the steps that were reccomended to send a photo via my I-phone, however, the receivers are not receiving them. When I press send, should I get a receipt that the photo was sent? You know, kind of when you send a message through your regular e-mail.

 If you could help me out, I would great appreciate any help and advice that you could give me.

Everything works fine on sending a pic from iphone to email address--then a screen pops up that says: cannot send mail a copy has been placed in your outbox. check the account settings for the outgoing server. I am clueless what do i do next. Thanks!

When I used to email photos with my iPhone it would include a .jpg attachment of the picture which could be saved by the receiver. Now my iPhone just inserts the picture and there is no way to save or save-as for for the receiver. What happend? How do I include the attachment?

I recently forwarded 4 separate photos and each time was told it couldn't be delivered. I then tried to resend 2 of those. As it turned out, not only were they sent but the receiver received over 30 of them. Any ideas?

Seriously, look at what the article says above. it's aimed at "new users"!! Chill out!!! Some people may have just purchased the iphone and need a little direction. Ok, we know what to do - Great, some people don't. Remember, the iphone does not come with a user guide or manual. Yes, accepted, the phone is supposed to be intuitive, but not everyone has an honours degree in I.T! If you think some of the guides are too basic, move on to articles that are slightly more advanced. A good website (which this is) caters for the wider audience.....

If you did not know, they are link building I assume. They must know a little about SEOing. It sounds annoying to you but ranks there site higher with each BS article. Thats why they post more articles than iphonehacks.com, modmyi.com, etc.

TheIphoneBlog.com has more articles posted than everyone. Some are very stupid though.

No one is talking about going around mms. I've been asking my friends to send me a text through thief mms to my email. That way I can get their phones email address (example soandsonmbr@vzwtext.com). It's a pain but now I can send photos to other phones and vice versa. . . now if only I could figure away around fowarding SMS...

maybe Steve, but 99% of the phone in the world are not iPhone's, and a huge percentage of them use MMS. MMS may be on its way out, but not for a good while then, and by the time its gone, we will probably be on an iPhone 4G!!
