Frog, it smashed your battery life? How so? Are you referring to a check every fifteen minutes for cal, mail, contacts, etc? I have mine set on manual and my emails still get here instantly (me.com). As for multitasking an IM client, wouldn't that pretty much be the same as using PNS? It would require the client to run in the background. I don't know. I think the next step for apple, and a good portion of their apps, would be to enable PNS. I need to talk crap to my brother during the NFL season. It's the only thing I miss about my old BB.

DDay; push email smashed the battery life ony iPhone. Can't last a day with 3G on if I use push. I'd say multi-tasking an IM client occassionaly would be way better on battery life than having PNS on would be.

@KORG: the rumor is that PNS will be easy on the battery because Apple will let you choose which apps to run in the background.

Well of course there will be a New iMac, Mac pro and Mac mini. But i think, Apple will tell us something about flash on the iPhone because Apple is working together with Adobe to find a solution for Flash on the iPhone.

Dang yal still talking about Push, that's not gonna happen cause iPhone 3G's Battery is crap and Apple doesn't want people bitching about it with Apps eating power. They promised something and failed and then act they never said anything about Push.

Plus they were put on notice about Pre's features, Apple scrabbling now.. instead of comming up with something or anything they're trying scare Palm with a law suit, that's sad. While us Apple COMSUMERS are lost in the shuffle. (pun intended).

@ STU - New iPhones will be announced in July. iPhone hardware season is July. Apple even said so I believe.

Their Desktop line will be refreshed. New graphics and processors in the iMacs and Mini's, as well as in the Mac Pro's. It won't be revolutionary, it'll be evolutionary.

Looks like April I'll be upgrading our PC's to an iMac; once the initial hype is over. Don't have a use for a Mac Pro quite yet.

They'll say push and copy/paste will be available in the next major update, which will be released sometime this summer.
