Well buddy, I don't know if you've tried Slackers "cache" feature, but it's exactly for that type of situation regarding low data coverage. Simply "cache" a station before you're road trip, and it plays tracks from your memory card rather than through the internet. You can throw away that satellite radio now ; ]

With Slacker their no reason to download music ever again! And YES, Slacker is better than Pandora because of the Slacker Plus option. Slacker Plus is less than a dollar a week and allows unlimited skips with no ads.

Looks really nice, but I wish they'd drop the "fave track" thing and change it for something like "+fav track"

Seems, in a graphical way, more appealing to me. ;p.
