Monday Fun Video: Aqua iPhone or Human Farce?
Either an iPhone 3GS was dropped in a pool and kept on recording, or as Richard Lai demonstrates in this second video [NSFW-L] someone was smart enough to cover it in plastic wrap first.
You can decide for yourselves, but we're not letting our iPhone's anywhere near water without full deep sea gear and a mini sub...
[Thanks everyone who sent this in!]

I'm not quite calling bs on this... but I'd be a bit more worked up than that guy was if I dropped my brand new iPhone in a pool.
What I mean is I'd be a tad bit more explicit than he was as he calmly commented "it still freakin works."
@Derek
Maybe, but you have to take his lifestyle into consideration.
Maybe hes religious and doesnt swear or get upset easily. Or maybe there were kids around.
Im gonna call total shenanigans.
My SPRINT HTC EVO 4G has all that and more LOL My back camera is 8 mega pix and my phone also has 1 GB RAM and a mini HDMI port..But the best is that I run at 4G sedeps and also WIFI
Looks real to me
lol @ Minisub
@ iShirk... What does being religious have to do with it? Sure he might not want to use foul language if there were kids around... but that doesn't mean he wouldn't have emotion in his voice when he drops a brand new $700 object in the pool.
Even the most even keeled people show concern in their voices in the midst of extreme circumstances.
It's only a phone, there are millions just like it
Lol please only apple fanboys could believe this...http://www.funkyspacemonkey.com/iphone-3gs-water-resistant-video-fake - there you have it. FAKED
The camera strap was the first thing I noticed, and it was later mentioned on the link from @Mr E. Glad I caught that.
"we’re not letting our iPhone’s anywhere near water...."
Why the apostrophe? Surely you meant "we’re not letting our iPhones anywhere near water...."
I believe it. I've dropped a (different) phone in a pool before and it still worked. I wouldn't doubt that the iPhone would work either.
And a big LOL to the people who think the video is fake just because the guy isn't cursing at the top of his lungs. Please reenact this video just so I can see how a "normal" person would respond.
@Sean
I'll get right on that. In the meantime, why don't you go light $700 on fire to see if you would get upset.
@sean nilay patel (iirc) of endgadgets iPhone didnt fair to well with water
