Apps for Less is Jeremy’s turf, but we just got a few extra, time-sensitive tips we wanted to share with you for the weekend, so please bear with my less than Bad Ash fill-in attempt.

First up is ConvertBot [iTunes link], which is now totally FREE for a limited time.

Next up, ID software has a sale going in honor of QuakeCon 2009, discounting Doom Resurrection [iTunes link] to $2.99 and Wolfenstein Classic [iTunes link] to $0.99 from now until Sunday. (Thanks Pete for the head’s up!)

If you see any other great weekend deals, let us know in the comments, or send them Jeremy’s way any time for inclusion in a future Apps for Less!

  3. dpeters11 says:

  4. Bigmeanie says:

Three bucks for Doom? WTF? I played Quake in FULL 3D on my Dell Axim several years ago and now everybody going crazy about Doom in craptacular 2D? A big LOLZ!

  5. Bigmeanie says:

    Ten dollars? LOL!

  6. Steve UK says:

If your after bargain Apps get the App ‘Bargainbin’which keeps a watch on the App stores and lets you know when things have dropped in price or gone free.

I’ve found all sorts of stuff that I wouldn’t normally have found.

  7. Icebike says:

No sooner bought Doom on sale than an update was released. It was huge! Took 40 minutes to download on wifi.

A flood of updates seemed to hit Saturday evening late.

Previously you could be assured that there would be no updates in the app store from Friday evening till mid afternoon Monday.

I wonder if Schiller’s “We here you” is showing some effect?
