I have a Factory Unlocked 3GS and a Jailbroken 3G. I’m in the Philippines. I have two prepaid sims, one for Globe the official iPhone carrier here and a Smart. Both can go on the web with 3G on a Nokia e-61 abs 61i. Neither can connect on either iPhone. Smart said they could not help me with the setting manually. Globe has their iPhone website. Changed the APN per the instructions. Loges in with their App in safari. Still can’t get on line. How does it work with the networks you are using? Anyone have an idea what the settings should be? I’d like to know what features (hardware) you’d guys would personally like in the new iPhone for next year
I’d like to know what options I have in turning my iphone into a bedside clock like the the bedside mode my blackberry had.
I think you guys should really talk about the hardware. We all know that iPhone has the software, apps and everything down and no one will ever catch them. But its become quite clear that as the software side of things is dominating, the iPhone hardware is really lacking.

Can you discuss the GPS apps and how we should decide which one to buy, if we should wait a little longer or are they all eventually going to have the same features. What do you know about this history of Navigon and Sygic and are they going to be around to continue to support their GPS apps.

Saurick update cydia with new privacy and other unknown but I feel the new updates have made jailbroken phone less stable. Anyone else having this problem?
Also do you guys feel AT&T and apple met together after the FCC asked for explanation off google voice being removed? Both their explanations sound very suspect.
I heard saurik mension he was upset google map didn’t have the compass built in on screen, this is a great idea know if this will come out soon? Maybe google will hear this podcast and add that feature.

To @Rick: I would strongly suggest nightstand by spoonjuice. I’m not sure if it is still free as it could possibly be .99 USD. Other than that I’m not sure what other options are available. That is the only dedicated time showing app I have cateloged. Goodluck.
@Rudy. Yes u can. Lol I’ve told this tale many a time. Ustream viewer app from the app store. It should be free. When the show is live (even the preshow if I’m right) open the app and under the “Live” tab on the bottom search for “Dieter” because as most iPhone Live listeners know audio is only given to thee by Dieter. Unless of course skype has a malfunction. But if there’s no audio always type in iPhone and since it’s live I belive there’s only one or two but you’ll know from there. Also note there is no chat via chatroll only ustream chat. Never tried it though.
