I tried this and the mail part of it worked but I tried to sync my contacts too and it completely messed them up. It made me delete the iphone contacts in order to back up from the gmail ones (which would have been fine cos they were in sync with eachother) but it only imported about 60 contacts out of 300 odd. I decided to give up in the end and stick with gpush for email notifications – as I like the way it pops up with a notification, and use SyncInABlink for syncing my contacts.

The audio quality and volume was fine for me, I must have go the newer “fixed” version. However, Chris sounds terrible, the feed is awful, couldn’t understand a word he said. This isn’t the only week it’s been like this, he always sounds terrible. Please fix this, I love the show!!!

I’m glad others mentioned the sound quality because this was my first time and it was so bad I almost unsubbed. I’ll give it another chance hoping it improves because I like most of the content.

I really enjoy the podcast and I am glad you do it every week. One issue: Chris’s sound quality is consistently poor, close to the point where it is unlistenable. Is he testing out the waterproof iPhone case and broadcasting from a pool? Is he on dial-up?

Yeah, the sound on the podcast was a bit rough this time, its really low volume. Chris had poor sound too, quite muffled.

Gezz will it kill to put a little production into the podcast. Chris sounded like mumbles. Please buy a nice mic Chris. Another this is the audio tracks need to be level to each other.

We’re talking about the official Google push gmail, not an app. GoogleSync now allows direct push Gmail right on the iPhone. Just set up an ActiveSync account using your Google email and password. Boom.

Push GMail is working great for me BUT...does anyone know why when I reply to a message sent to me that is forwarded to my GMAIL account, I instantly get a duplicate email of the one I just sent??

Anyone else have their sent message copy / bouncing to the inbox?
