Will the fact that all of this drivel ends up in google's cache do anything to quell the utter banality of what transits the Twitter pipes?

The relative anonymity of being one twitter drop in the ocean disappears once search engines are brought to bare.
The pointless babble will now be indexed, cataloged, cross matched, and no doubt held against you in a court of law or rear its ugly head at your next job interview.

The problem is the subject matter is largely idle chatter, and should have remained that way, like the idle comments between friends sitting around over a beer.

Now that its known someone hovering nearby is wearing a wire will everyone continue the flirtation, the gossip, the snark, and the narcissism?

I smell a big-brother esque conspiracy theory- now not only will Twitter keep all of your posts stored on their servers, but google and bing will catalog them and make them searchable for anyone. Also plan to see a spike in twitter based marketing, followed quickly by a dramatic drop in Twitter traffic once it gets "played out"

I just hope they're better than search.twitter.com, which I find to be useless in general.

On an unrelated note, could TiPB and other blogs of the like find a volunteer to delete useless/irrelevant comments, such as those claiming the gold-prize of "First"? I consider such comments nothing more than spam, and I would gladly volunteer to help you get rid of them.
