Close to 4,000 iPhones Stolen from Belgium Warehouse

Over the weekend in Belgium thieves made a clean getaway with close to 4,000 iPhones. The market value of that many iPhones, 2 million euros, or $3 million U.S.
The iPhone thieves cut a hole in the ceiling of a warehouse where the devices were being stored waiting to be delivered to Mobistar in time for holiday shopping season. According to Mobistar, local police have zero leads but think twice about landing one of these phones as a spokesperson from Mobistar is promising they will not work.
"We have the serial numbers of stolen iPhones blocked anyway so they can not be used,""People who want to buy an iPhone, which is best done in an approved outlet and not on street or on the black market."
In the end, crime does not pay folks...

Wow! Whatchya gonna do when they come for you?
^Lol, but im sure they'll find a way to make them work. 4000 iphones is hell of a lot to just leave it and not try anything.
This type of stuff happens everyday in chicago...nothing to see here folks, move along
they may not work on mobistar , but there are so many other providers they'll probably work with. my best bet is vzw
They're not going to sell the phones. They can easily part them out. The screen alone is worth $100.
iPhone chop shops!
Yes, but can't they still jailbreak/hacktivate, and unlock those phones, then sell them all on eBay for the profits?
I don't think anyone who could organize the robbery wouldn't hack them in some way. I'll be interested to hear stories of these popping up when people activate them.
I guess you better watch out if you get one on eBay no?
as long as the wi/fi's arent broken
Some people I tell ya.
They will not work in Belgium but they will work in other countries. Also easy to jailbrake to allow other sims abroad. If anyone knows where i can get my hands on about a thousand of these let me know.
@ ADI--LOL
They are gonna work, you can believe that!
