IF a Verizon iPhone does come next year and it's a hybrid chip (doubtful) you think current AT&T customers would be able to bring their phone to Verizon?

Rene, as usual, you're caught sleeping again. No post about the GA judge tossing the AT&T ads case against verizon? I thoroughly enjoy your posts, and love contributing to the comments, but it seems the site is always the last to post serious news.
Surely we don't expect Rene and crew to be the ones to break all iPhone related news. I think they do a great job keeping us as informed as they do.

I'm wondering if there are any known glitches (or important things to be aware of) when syncing iPhone with iTunes residing on an external drive. I'm thinking of buying a 2TB drive for iTunes only (Mac).
I know how to set it up, but there doesn't seem to be much info on whether or not syncing works seamlessly.
