Saturday Fake Video: Apple iTablet
Chad and Phil spotted this in the wee hours, and it being no more believable than many of the so-called analyst predictions about the when’s and how-muches involving Apple’s still unannounced iTablet, we figured it might be a fun, fakety fake fake sort way to start off the real weekend.
And if Apple by chance does make something close-ish to this, would you want?

Whether it is fake or not…that is pretty slick.
A junk mail reader? Not really my cup of tea.
I would probably like to have the device, but I doubt I would be willing to pay for one.
It looks real! I really like the concept, it makes kindle look like something the caveman invented! I would love to have one. But then will I still need to curry a laptop while having one of those? Let’s wait and see.
That’s pretty sweet tbh.
What’s the thinking behind this being a fake apple tablet?
I’m curious what, exactly, makes the “experts” at TiPB think this is fake?
There’s not enough to go on to declare it real but a declaration that it’s fake? I think that deserves a tiny amount of reasoning or points-of-fact. I’ve read none.
This isn’t a matter of “We passed the video through an After Effects filter” kind of investigation, is it?
The video is certainly a fake, a very good one though (sans the terrible shadow that his hand is casting on a LIT LCD SCREEEEN!!!!!) but as far as the tracking goes, it’s pretty well done..
Ingredients: Adobe After Effects, and I personally would’ve used Boujou for the track, but might be Syntheyes or Pf, awesome concept though
looks pretty real, other than the shadow at first glance it looks pretty real
It’s cool but not something I would buy
Love it. Ever since the iPhone came out, I have wanted something larger that still had the touch screen capabilities. I wouldn’t carry my laptop any more once I had something like that. I have eyeballed the laptops with the reversable fold down touch screens and….. No.
This thing is just what I would want in something to read online articles, books, magazines, etc. 99 percent of what I do online outside of work can be done on a device like this. Bring it on Apple, I’m ready.
