Apple Introduces iPad Tablet!
  1. HungWell says:

Ok, with all the rumors as to what we might get, I'm more curious as to when we will get it and wondering if anything will be in the end users hands by March 1: OS 3.2 OS 4.0 iTablet (or whatever the bleep you want to call it) iPhone 4G Verizon iPhone

Any chance we'll have something available today?

  2. Konnie34kF says:

Different spheres of people's life utilize a lot of efforts, hence why must we waste free time for good term paper writing? That will be wise to use some good sociology essay service to purchase the term paper essays from, I think.

  3. Luci says:

please let there be multitasking involved

  4. Jon says:

Is there an online live video feed we can watch?

  5. Rene Ritchie says:

Apple typically doesn't allow video streaming of their events. People who try to stream them are often stopped, or the server crashes because so many people try to jump on the feed. There are often fake video streams as well.

Apple usually puts up a QuickTime stream within a day or so, and a high quality version on iTunes for download. Likely they know we'd all crash their servers as well.

  6. websyndicate says:

I do expect to see 3.2 today if thats not released then we r going to be waiting for 4.0 this summer I think. Just as they have usually dont for the iphone OS

  7. Rentalman says:

Will this meta blog work on the iPhone?

  8. Sean says:

I wouldn't hold my breath for iPhone 3.whatever today. I'm betting Apple is long past 3.X and has held off on any beta release do to tablet refrences. If anything new I'd released today for iPhone, my money is on 4.0 beta.

    Sean

  9. Al says:

The informant who leaked those shots of the tablet to Engadget said iPhone announced on Verizon today, just throwing that out there. I hope we see a few nuggets for iPhone owners today on top of the tablet announcements. Perhaps a point update or something???

  10. Al says:

Is anyone already sold on buying one? Apple is really going to have to convince me that I NEED this today. Engadget reported that it will cost $800 with contract/$1000 without. I cannot see myself spending that kind of money on this kind of thing when I have a MacBook Pro, iPhone, and just got a Nook reader for Christmas. I can't see this being so compelling for someone who has a lot of high-end stuff already.

  11. Freiteez says:

I saw this earlier. Supposidly a tablet beta tester. Twitter.com/Jason

Talking a lot about the tablets features

  12. Milk says:

STEVE JOBS STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS WILL BE BETTER THAN OBAMA'S

  13. Al says:

@ Freiteez - If that information on the twitter feed is accurate, that guy may have a suit on his hands. He has spilled the beans on a lot of features!

  14. Sean says:

Al, assuming the price is within my means ($800 or so), I'll buy it depending on the answer to just one question.

Will I still need my budget-priced PC laptop every night when I get home?

You see, the iPhone is my only Apple product. As nice and handy as it is through the workday, I need my $500 laptop at home after work. Full sized internet, auto-downloads of subscribed podcasts and app updates, looking at pictures off my iPhone and digital camera, even wanting to find new stuff in iTunes is far easier on my coffee-table laptop. I'm not talking about playing COD4 or modeling 3D or anything. Just the usual 90% stuff.

If the alleged tablet can do that, I'll get it instead of replacing my PC laptop with another cheapy.

  15. Rene Ritchie says:

Jason Calacanis was joking. Total hoax.

  16. HungWell says:

@Milk- That's because Steve Jobs actually understands what the people want. If the government were run like Apple there would be no deficit and we'd have the best health care system in the world. Oh yeah, and world peace, too :)

  19. Elton says:

  20. iPhone 3G (tulliver) says:

    GMT please?

  21. Sean says:

    6pm GMT

  22. Impaler says:

Everyone's talking about buying one...we don't even know what we're going to see yet! I will await the presentation, see what is there, see what my budget dictates, and most importantly, see how it will benefit ME. Then I'll consider a purchase.
