Looks absolutely ridiculous. I wish SE would stop doing this!!! If only they would put some god damn effort into their remakes! They did it one time with FF III for the DS, why can’t they try that on the iPhone? It already had some touch controls, 3D graphics that the iPhone can obviously do… Would be so much better than this emulated crap!

  2. Adam says:

Sorry for my past comment i had yet to eat my daily Big Mac yet…can i get a Big Mac!

  3. Michael says:

Be nice if the video was supported on the iPhone. Ironic.

  4. Avt says:

Doesn’t look all that great. Hopefully they can make a good version of FF7. :)

  5. Adam says:

@Michael: it is supported on iPhone and has been for days.

@imposter: I don’t eat big macs. I’ll take a crispy southwest chicken with large fries please.

  6. @Michael, it is a YouTube video and is working fine on my iPhone.

  7. websyndicate says:

WOW back to Gamebody Advance. How gives a f…

  8. Adam says:

    @Websyndicate: indeed, how gives a f… About gamebody…. LOL

  9. Tir says:

@Adam: It’s a port of the revamped PSP versions, if you think it’s just a lazy emu of the original games then clearly you don’t remember what NES games looked like. :)

But I could never finish 3′s remake on DS because it was so tedious and didn’t care for 4 either, maybe I’ll still give these a try.

  10. Tyler3912 says:

GAY!! why can’t big name developers actualy make a decent game for the iPhone, I mean it looks like a gameboy color game, so gay the iPhone has so much more power, MAKE A REAL GAME!

  11. ddx says:

Lol i remember playing these on NES and then again on PSone. This is an easy port though so easy money for SquareEnix

@Tyler3912 Why? Make a game for a market that hasnt proven itself is stupid beyond belief. Stupid games that are worth 10 minutes of your time opposed to an RPG that takes roughly 20-30 hours to beat are an entirely different category.

You’re probably saying, well theres 75 million potential customers they should still make it Thats silly and here’s why.

Slow Japanese adoption. If the iPhone/iPod Touch were big in Japan, you’d be seeing a lot higher quality titles and coming out much faster, because they have a big mobile gaming community. The audience you have with a dedicated gaming console, and that of a all in one device is splintered.

Your average iPhone user in America or Europe most likely hasnt heard of Final Fantasy or Metal Gear Solid (how did metal gear touch fare?) So why make a big budget game on a platform and barely make any money on it?

  12. Gregg says:

It looks like Zelda for the 1985 nintendo.

  13. Justin O says:

What’s wrong with it that people don’t like? Looks just like the original game to me – can’t wait!

  14. This movie was awesome! great blog btw will be checking out some more trailers in the future.
