Regarding the iPad and the buttons that say decline video chat and such, if you notice, these are for receiving video calls. If you use video chatting now, you realize that you can video chat with computers that do not send video (ie. no camera) but they can still receive video. I do this with family members whose external cameras are not always plugged in. Anyhow, if you receive video calls, you still need to be able to decline the video for many obvious reasons.
Great job. Just remember to look at it from the various sides; it is an iPhone, it is a Mac etc in order to see if what it is doing, or supposed to be doing makes sense. You would not like to program too many exceptions into an operating system for long term maintenance purposes.
