Apple Store app for iPhone now in App Store
Looks like Apple has finally released an Apple Store mobile application for the iPhone. I would have thought we'd see this a lot sooner but we all know Apple. Looks like you can not only browse the store, but search for Apple Stores close to you and even make appointments with the Genius Bar.
As of now, it's only showing up in the US app store, so those of you in other countries, feel free to let us know when you see it show up in yours. Given iPhone 4 pre-order madness is upon us, I can't access the Apple Store to test it so if it gives you problems just wait a while and try again when the the pre-order insanity dies down.

I didn't think they were ever going to make this app, it's cute.
I don't see the point of this app. If someone uses it heavily, they either have too many Mac issues or need to see a therapist for a case of the fanboism shakes.
The app crashes after entering the ATT verification info.
Mine also crashes verifying......FAIL!

AT&T servers are down. Go figure, a telecom company that can't communicate with it self! The app crashes when it has to communicate with the AT&T server.

after a couple of crashes i was able to reserve a iphone 4 through it which was saweet experience hopefully at&t gets their junk together because this is def not apples fault everything else works fine.
The app crashed a few times but I was able to reserve a phone at the store. Better than ATT and apple.com. Its worth a try.

@unchew, @johnniem2nd: After I reserved a iphone 4 on the apple store app, I went to my local apple store website to view my reservation. I didn't see my reservation on the website but I see my reservation on my apple store app. Are you guys seeing the same thing?

i finally was able to reserve a iphone using the app. and after about 5-10 minutes i got an email confirming it. have you gotten the email yet?
@Sean: I just got the comfirmation email. I'm eligible for an upgrade but it's showing the $599 price. I'm sure when I go pick it up at the store they will give me the discounted price. Did you notice the same price too?

mine says $599 too. once i go in the store im sure they will fix that since im eligible for the upgrade. now i gotta wait till 7am next thursday haha.

App worked for me too. Mine also shows $599. Hopefully they fix that when we get to the store
After struggling with a few tries at the regular Apple Store (with no success), I installed the app and reserved my iPhone on first try! I like it.
App ended up doing it for me, reservation email say $699 though. I think it just didn't go through AT&T and that's why it worked.
App did it for me this morning around 1130 PST. Email does not show any price though, but just that its been confirmed for pick up at a store until closing! I'm good with that, seeing that I am traveling on the 25th. oh yea, earlier in the am, the app would crash on iphone/ipad as soon as I would go to select store.
Well I like the app in a way.... Wish it fit the iPad.. I dont understand why APPLE would make it and not make an iPad size one lol. kind of funny but oh well I like it.. I didnt use it lol I got my 32 gig black iphone 4 from Apple.com after trying for about 10 hours lol
