it works now, I have HD quality uploading with IOS5. You need WiFi to upload in HD quality, but finally HD quality. I don’t need to transfer videos from my iPhone to my computer, then upload to YouTube! About Time!

Time to make an app . Email the video to yourself then upload it from that email to YouTube . I know it’s not possible yep but it’s in the works .

Why even put the functionality in there if it's essentially useless?

Obviously, they have the capabilities to allow uploads of the larger files over 3G. Now that AT&T has decided to limit bandwidth, there's no excuse not to allow it. It's my bandwidth that I'm paying for, let me do what I want with it.

Actually my AT&T upload speed is over 1mbs on the new iPhone 4 compared to only 0.72mbs on my DSL. So it actually was faster to upload on AT&T cell network with the new iPhone 4. Using pixelpipe to load 720p was flawless!

You guys are a bunch of pansies. Just wait until you get home to your desktop to upload your HD video. I noticed the same thing when I tried to upload a video as well...but then I thought, "wait a minute, this file has got to be huge" and noticed the little thing that tells you it is compressing the video.

It's really not that big of a deal, and doesn't seem like something that needs to be "fixed" because there's nothing wrong with it. Everyone is whining about their amazing new piece of technology. Just enjoy the phone like I am, you dolts.

Why would anybody want to upload HD video from their phone? It takes forever to do so over 3G on phone hardware. It’s best to drag and drop them to your computer then upload from a real internet connection.

How bout working on the current hardware and f'd up software issues you have right now instead of planning the next big sucker product.

Sorry guys. I never post but read very many forums on a daily basis. I just recently bought a 3GS (no contract) to replace my 3G. The new ios 4 not only has my 3G running sluggish but I finallybstared setting up my 3GS today and 30 minutes ago it froze for the first time. I cannot get the unlock slider across without slowly starting with the middle of my finger. If I try a hard restart I get the same thing. When the unlock screen does come up the numbers don't register. I have had this phone for a week. I just went through the settings page made all adjustments then bang.......that was it. Even tried plugging it into iTunes. This bugging ios4 needs a fix fast. Getting ready to head out of town with a useless phone.

I cannot believe with all these issues there are still a bunch of idiots standing in line like sheep to slaughter. They look ridiculous. It's a damn phone and a flawed one at that.

I did not getba iPhone 4 because I became very disillusion when I get hit with the bait and switch from Att which I believe apple was aware of. Hope the lawsuit pans out. If I walk into that damn apple store tomorrow the guienous will just want to restore it and I have too much time in that phone 3GS getting apps, passwords and all on it.

I have honestly lost my apple admiration. They are getting too big and need some serious competition.

I'm not a fangirl but I do own an iPod touch 2g, iPhone 3G and 3GS and an iPad 3G. (yeah got suckered into the great unlimited option that would be available. F u AT&T. My 3G iPad is just bused as a wi-fi tablet.

The app pixelpipe will upload HD 720p to YouTube and other sites as well. Tried it today and it worked great.

Why is there not more outrage at the fact that you can not do anything with iMovie unless you enable Location awareness?? Isn’t that supposed to be an OPTION, that helps me, not limits me from using paid products? WTF does apple care where I EDIT my movie….grrr
