It's not the thinnest skin in the store but the thickness does provide extra protection against those little bumps and scrapes that would otherwise impact the device. (Except for the area directly over the Apple logo on the back -- that's left thin and translucent of course...)

I got a dermaShot for my iPhone 4 yesterday. They were already shipping on Friday.
We need some reviews of some of the more "useful" cases offered. By useful I mean the multi-function cases that allow for portrait and typing angle arrangement of the iPad. These skin cases really don't offer to much besides basic protection.
This case flat out sucks. Its a dust magnet and actually makes the iPad heavier. I stick with with cases that provide a stand.
@Darwin: Georgia demonstrates Georgia. The product does not matter, nobody pays attention to that anyway.
Georgia needs to work on not saying "um" so much.
I don't even won an iPad but anytime Georgia does a review I always take a peep at the comments to see what y'all say. You guys are all over the place with her. I just think it's hilarious. Anyway keep up the good work... all of you.
