Apple releases iOS 5 beta 7 [Updated]
Apple has just pushed out iOS 5 beta 7, another over the air (OTA) update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. As with previous betas, go to Settings > General > Software Updates to grab it.
It apparently hasn't shown up in Apple's development portal yet, but I imagine it will shortly along with the Apple TV beta 7, iTunes 10.5 beta 7, Xcode, and perhaps new iCloud betas.
UPDATE: It's available for download from Apple's developer center now. [developer.apple.comhttp://www.developer.apple.com)
No word yet on new features, if any.

Funny... yours shows 70.9 MB mine showed 80.1 MB to download... I wonder what the difference is?
Perhaps a difference in GSM vs CDMA models? My Verizon iPhone was also 80.1 MB.
So what are the major changes from Beta 6?
I just can't wait for the full release! Hopefully this is the last beta

Downloaded and as it went to install it rebooted and starting the installation bar and then went to the itunes screen prompting me to plug it into itunes. iTunes now shows its in recovery mode
Same here Pedro. Tried to do the OTA update which has worked for me since it was out but this time no luck. I'm downloading it right now from Apple's website now.
Is there a ipsw on there? I'm having to download beta 6 to restore and wait otherwise.
Any progress? I encountered the same issue.
I was able to download Beta 7 and it installed fine on my MAC but no luck with ota. Had the same problem with iPad
I cant play any music for some reason, ipad 2 btw.

Anyone else on a beta 5 and it just all of a sudden stopped working when beta 7 got released. I am back at the activation screen now and it says that the servers are down

My iTunes has been playing up last couple days, it keeps saying "Apple Mobile Device Could Not Be Started" every time i plug either of my iPhones in, I have completely removed all Apple programs from control panel and then re installed and same problem persists and just now I removed everything again and installed the latest build (beta 7) and still have the same error, so my iTunes doesn't pick up my iPhone, am I going to be stuck with this or can this be fixed?
I took my phone to the apple store they couldn't do anything cuz I was running beta software. Went home and downgraded to 4.3.5 and it said emei and ccid numbers were unknown. I took it back to the apple store and they replaced. Was my last day of warranty. I'm not putting iOS 5 back on my phone til gm, beta 7 is a Trojan.
I would put money on the GM being 2nd or 3rd week of September
I'm on beta 5 and it just kicked me back to activation screen and says the the servers are unavailable to reach and only happened since the beta 7 came out today
one of my iP4's had the same issue (forgot to update to beta 6), i had to go back down to 4.3.5 (via DFU), download the ipsw for iOS 5 beta 6, then install beta 6, then do the beta 7 OTA update. a pain, i know, but worth it. DON'T FORGET TO BACK UP!!!

OverDrive Media loads books now but it only shows the first page of each chapter. Anyone else with this problem?

Updated my iPad and iPhone 4 before work, and I can't play any music at all on my iPhone 4. The Music App just crashes and does weird glitchy things (shuffling through like 12 songs real fast). This stinks.
Exactly the same on my iPhone 4, hahaha. It wont stop
delete all your music all your phone through iTunes and re sync it, this worked for me.
I lost all my photos when I updated over the air. Not happy.
iOs 5 beta 7 is a beta software right
mine also messed up to where it got stuck on the itunes and plug logos and i had to restore the phone. so pissed
