Daily Tip: How to Jailbreak iOS 5 beta 7 via Redsn0w 0.9.8b7
  1. Sky Bluu says:

    Not live in Australia yet.

  2. Josh Hofer says:

Still filled with bugs, as expected. I just don't understand how such a powerful company and have such a piss poor app. Blows my mind.

The friends request bug is still there -- never shows me having any requests unless I go into Friends and click on Requests. Then I see them. However, the badge on the Friends icon never updates to reflect those requests. The app is still painfully slow, even on wifi. And I have two "Photos" icons as Favorites, and when posting with the app, it still says 'via mobile' rather than 'via iPhone' like it used too. I assume that is a quick API fix... but I don't know.

  3. Man, it's about time they finally let you tag friends in a post and have "fixed" a lot of the annoying bugs in the app. Hopefully this update makes the Facebook app not the worst app in the app store.

  4. Did Facebook pull this? I keep being told there's an update but that the item I want to purchase is no longer available.

  5. Jonathan Seals says:

It seems like the only reason this was released is to get rid of the secret iPad app.

  6. 4forkssake says:

By all accounts if you are using the iPad interface via the FaceForward jailbreak tweak on your iPad this update breaks that too.

Keep away if you want to still use the hidden iPsd interface!

  7. Matt says:

I downloaded the update but do not have the ability to tag anyone. I have seen screen's of what the new pages should look like but do not have them. Any idea's?

  8. Mani Mirza says:

Can I tag friends in comments and other posts ?? Thnxxx :) )

  9. born2vape says:

Notifications actually work now which is nice. Haven't noticed any problems so far. After I updated and closed the app and reopened before testing. I haven't tested everything yet but it seems improved but could be better.

  10. Dionte Love says:

I thought we were finally getting an iPad app, let down.

  11. Glad they made these changes. Much needed. Now Facebook is complete. Or very close!

  12. EvoL Lime says:

Reinstalled update. Still can't tag friends in posts or comments other than that everything else is working fine. Chicago native here

  13. Cuban8dudeca says:

How do you tag some one I can't figure it out?

  14. Evollime23 says:

Reinstalled the app but haven't been able to tag friends in posts or comments. Chicago native here

  15. guest says:

My Update Status is still the same. White box, black background, and still can't tag friends. Whats wrong?

  16. Anonymous says:

Be careful if your running this on the iPad with the jailbreak tweak. Facebook has removed the universal iPad code from this update so it will kill the iPad experience!

  17. Vineet Digga says:

    where is your charger? :D

  18. Jack says:

I just updated the Facebook app for my iPhone 4. Everything is updated like the streamlining of profiles and such but the major update, the ability to tag friends in status updates is not there. There is no bar that allows me to do that. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

  19. HORRIBLE UPDATE! After updating Facebook, it just constantly loads. Can't do anything with it. Only way i got it to work was deleting it and reinstalling it.

  20. Ganthonyv says:

After I installed the update I can't even post a status update. This app is so annoying. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still can't update my status. Anyone else having this issue

  21. Patrickweeks77 says:

I am still having the bad connection message when you switch from news feed to chat does it less but it still does it. Loading times have increased and I can't tag anyone in pictures. Update sucks

  22. ItsBerto XD says:
