Belkin set to launch a remote camera shutter release for iPhone
Belkin is set to release a remote camera shutter controller for the iPhone according to information found in an FCC filing. The small accessory will work over a Bluetooth connection to your iPhone and it can activate the camera shutter or trigger video recording remotely.
The camera remote is set to work exclusively with Belkin’s LiveAction app which is already available in the App Store. The camera remote will also come with a detachable iPhone stand to enable you to prop up your iPhone at various angles to capture the best shot. It could come in very handy if you like to take group photographs that you also wish to be included in. This would be a much better option than rushing around after setting the camera's self timer.
There is no information as to when this may be released or any pricing information at this stage. We will let you know as soon as we hear anything more.
