Starbucks has released an app to bring some augmented reality holiday fun to your life. They have created five Starbucks Holiday Characters on their holiday cups, Christmas Blend bags, and in-store that can be scanned with the Starbucks Cup Magic App for iPhone and brought to life. The app will also keep you updated on the latest holiday offers and events from Starbucks.

If you're dying to try this out before you can make it to your local Starbucks, head on over to Starbucks' website and scan the squirrel. I think it's rather cute.

Let’s bring the season to life with the Starbucks Cup Magic app! Use the app to find and scan all five Starbucks Holiday Characters – on Red Cups, Christmas Blend bags, in-store and more – and watch as they magically come to life through augmented reality on your mobile device. Who knows what holiday magic you’ll discover…
