What in the world happened? When I finished inputting my results the iMore did something really crazy... As if all the articles were presented in one long stream.

Mayson Lancaster says:

That survey sucks: You should have ZERO required answers: most of the categories I, and most people, have little to no idea which is best.

Derek Kessler says:

Only required answers are the best phone, tablet, overall app, and overall game.

i will admit i stopped as i don't have an opinion on either. At least i'm not that fond of either. But i didn't want to vote for either so i didn't take the pool.

Started answering survey. QUIT when I was forced to answer every question. Don't know all the apps in all categories. How can I intelligently vote for one?

I didn't know some of them. The problem though is that I didn't think much of the ones chosen for each category. Silly stuff. Waste of time.

Richard Devine says:

Well...the readers have nominated these choices. We didn't pick them. Did you cast your nominations for your favorites?

cardfan says:

Oops. No. But I voted. The problem with nominations by the masses is having to see stuff like Facebook app all over the place.

The best overall app category was a joke right?

Typo in the headline.... sorry

Entered my Votes! Check it out iMore!

Jim Gramze says:

I didn't catch the nominations, sorry.

Most categories I have never used any of the apps/products. How does YouTube qualify as an app of 2013? I was honestly shocked to see anything I use regularly outside of Apple hardware. I had to make up answers for almost every forced answer and I only voted on about four unforced questions.

Done with the voting a few days ago. Excited to see the results.
