Apple has begun shipping out custom orders of its new, ultra-portable MacBooks with 1.3GHz Intel Core M processors.
The 1.3GHz option on the new MacBook is available for both the 256GB and 512GB version of the notebook. Initially given a 3-4 week shipping time, some users who ordered MacBooks with the 1.3GHz Intel Core M processors are now seeing shipping dates almost two weeks ahead of projections.
Apple retail chief Angela Ahrendts noted earlier this week that demand for the new notebook was "off the charts", particularly the space gray and gold versions. Indeed, shipping estimates for the MacBook in all configurations and colors currently sits at four to six weeks from the Apple Online Store.
