Apple releases OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 build 13F18 to developers

Apple is now offering a new build, 13F18, for its upcoming OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 to developers along with testers in the company's AppleSeed program.

Since this is a pre-release update to OS X Mavericks 10.9, user who are eligible to download and install this build on their Mac will need to check the seed note for more details and complete installing instructions. As, usual, qualifing developers can get this latest pre-release build though Software Update or at the Apple Developer Portal.

What do you think of this new version of Mavericks?

Apple releases OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 build 13F18 to developers

Yeah, Apple is updating Mavericks (10.9) as well as Yosemite (10.10) beta.
This concept seems to be intensely confusing for some iMore readers.

Yeah as readers we maybe confused but I thought OS X 10.9 Mavericks was officially launched already?

Yosemite is going to be amazing. My 2008 Mac Pro is clearly much faster. Though Yosemite is still somewhat rough, if it supported all of my critical apps, I'd put it on my new Mac Pro now.

The last line made me check the Article date since Mavericks has been officially launched for nearly a year.
