A new report claims that Apple will hold its big press event to officially introduce new products, including the rumored 4-inch iPhone SE, on the week of March 21.

Re/code reports:

Attention Apple nerds, investors, media and everyone else who needs to know when Tim Cook's next product event is going to be held: It's going to be the week of March 21.

Or to put it another way, it's not going to be on March 15, the time frame that other outlets previously reported, according to several sources. It is not clear if the event was moved or if this was the same timing as Apple had always planned.

Previous reports pegged the date as March 15, but it's unclear if the event was rescheduled or the previous date was simply in error.

In addition to the iPhone SE, the March event is expected to show off a new 9.7-inch version of the iPad Pro, along with some new Apple Watch bands.

Update: March 21st is now being reported by Buzzfeed as well.

Sources in position to know say the company has settled on March 21st as the date it will show off a handful of new products. Sources declined to say why Apple postponed the date by a week, but the company's pitched battle with the FBI over an iPhone backdoor seems a reasonable explanation.

Can you wait another week for the 4-inch iPhone SE? Let us know!
