In preparation for the iPhone 6s, Apple Stores have been updating their accessory walls—and screen protectors are among them.

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are fast approaching, and Apple Stores across the country have been preemptively updated in anticipation of the new devices. That means new Apple-branded cases, but also an accessory wall devoted entirely to the 6s and 6s Plus.

I went into my local store on Saturday for an unrelated matter (playing with an iPad mini 4), but stopped by the accessories wall and took special note of this section:

Yes, [Phil Schiller may have initially confirmed it in an email, but now we have visual proof: screen protectors are being marketed toward the 6s and 6s Plus in Apple Stores.

What's still unknown is the fate of glass screen protectors; I didn't spot any off-hand in the Apple Store display, though there may have been one or two hiding that I didn't catch. We'll know more on Friday when we get the devices in hand, and will report back with testing.
