Assassin's Creed Memories offers stabby guild-based card battling

Assassin's Creed Memories

The widely-recognized Assassin's Creed franchise is bringing another title to the App Store today by way of Assassin's Creed Memories. It's a free-to-play card battler with RPG-style progression and online multiplayer. Locales range from renaissance Italy to colonial America to feudal Japan, and more. Battles can get as big as 20 vs 20 guild battles, with the best of the best leading the fray.

If you're looking for something a little more action-packed, Assassin's Creed Pirates is great. Previously, Ubisoft had released an Assassin's Creed card game on mobile called Recollection, but it disappeared awhile ago.

We haven't had a chance to play around much, but the inclusion of gems in the in-app purchase section suggests that at least timers are a part of the equation. Folks will forgive a lot for a beloved franchise, though; are you willing to get into a freemium title if it means you can be a part of a wicked cabal of assassins?
