Call this something of a turn up for the books, but Apple's European stores have just come back up with the Black Friday promotion, and it's not like the Australian deal we've already seen. Europe is seeing discounted prices instead of free gift cards. The discounts are modest, but for those of us this side of the Atlantic where Black Friday isn't really a thing, it's a chance to get some money off that Apple product you've been eying up.
The iPad Air is down by £31 - £61 in the UK making the base 16GB WiFi version available for £368, not the regular £399. The iPad 2 and iPad mini are both seeing discounts, but the iPad mini with Retina Display is absent.
Mac discounts are much simpler to understand. £81 has been taken off the price of the MacBook Air, Macbook Pro and iMac. The Mac Mini isn't included in the deal.
The discounts don't stop there either. The iPod touch sees £25 off each model, the iPod nano gets cut by £11 and the Apple TV by £15. A whole bunch of third party products are also on offer, including Mophie Juice Packs, Bowers & Wilkins speakers, the Jawbone UP and even a GoPro Hero 3. Prices and products may vary by location, and we've gone from the UK store. The best way to check it out is to hit up your local Apple Store online and see what you can buy.
Apple sales aren't frequent at all, and while the U.S. folks may get better deals away from Apple, for us folks in countries where Black Friday isn't really a thing, any discount is a welcome discount. If you pick something up, drop us a line in the comments and tell us what you got!
