Chase Mobile finally gets an update for iOS 7

If you're a Chase bank customer you'll notice a rather significant change to the Chase Mobile app when you fire it up today. It's finally been updated to officially support iOS 7. Well, I guess 7 months late is better than never, right?

The new version of Chase Mobile only brings one new feature with it which is the ability to send and reply to messages. Other than that, all energy and effort was put behind completely redoing the interface and design. For those used to using the Chase Mobile app, be forewarned it's a lot different this time around.

Unfortunately the iPad version hasn't received an update for iOS 7 just yet. Hopefully that'll change soon as well. For those who use Chase Mobile regularly, how do you feel about the new design and layout? Better, worse, or don't care? Let me know in the comments!

I have held off on updating it because of the heavy graphical changes. I actually liked the chase app the was it was, so until my version quits working or I buy a new phone, I'm sticking with the old one.

On a different note, I wonder if a larger iPhone will mean that they move the back arrow to the bottom of the screen?

Good news and bad news for the iPad App...Chase has updated it today. All that is changed is that they have added a messages function to read and reply to messages that used to only be available on the web client (and now also in the new iPhone App). No new iOS 7 skin [yet].

P.S. I'm one of the users really liking the new iPhone App.

More disappointing is that 1Password has not updatee for iOS 7. I know it is coming but it's one of the more important apps on iOS and Mac and it has taken this long to update.

That's what I'm waiting for too! I've seen pictures of the updated app and it looks great. I want it already.

Can anyone testify if the background is only New York? Or does it change based on where you live?

My one issue is the overly prominent "Pay Credit Card" button. Something you do once a month, maybe, has by far the most prominence, while the account summary and activity are less obvious at first.
