How to untether the Verizon iPhone Jailbreak on iOS 4.2.7 via Sn0wbreeze 2.6.1

Can someone PLEASE write an article on SHSH blobs. Like what are they, why are they important, why they need backed up and what to do if you lost them.
I am 110% clueless on the subject and I am really tech savy too. Help those out that are like me Tipb!

Im right there with ya buddy. I really cant seem to find any info on these shsh blobs and whatnot, and im really curious about it all. I bet you are like me, some what newer to the iphone and all this and you just came on board when it came to Verizon, and just feel a little behind when it comes to jailbreaking and all of this. I knew all about rooting android, SBF's, SDK and RSDlight and everything that was involved in that, and now i just wanna get hip to all this jailbreaking stuff.

YES! I jumped onto the iPhone the day it arrived at my local Verizon. I had a droid and knew so much about rooting and doing the whole custom roms and nandroid backups but I am TOTALLY lost when it comes to shsh blobs :(

I left a comment here about a day ago, but it's still "awaiting moderation" because it contains (useful) links, and I doubt it'll ever be reviewed. (And at the same time, one comment below mine is a spammer and no "report spam" button anywhere. Great comment management here...)
So, I'll go the silly route and disguise my URLs in order to give you the information (very mature). Here's what I wrote:
Try semaphore’s TinyUmbrella FAQ for a short overview to the subject: thefirmwareumbrellaDOTblogspotDOTcom/p/faq.html
For a very good introduction, read saurik’s info page about SHSHs: saurikDOTcom/id/12 It might be a little outdated on certain topics, but this page is essentially what made the jailbreakers aware of the whole SHSH issue initially.

Sn0wbreeze is a Windows application and it cannot be downloaded from Cydia.. If you use Sn0wbreez you don't have the download the patch from Cydia..
To Jailbreak 4.2.7 use sn0wbreeze in Windows or for mac use redsn0w and 4.2.6 to get to tethered mode.. then download the patch from cydia to make it untethered.

Anyone else having issues with this jailbreak and MyWi? I purchased MyWi with the Greenpois0n jailbreak for iOS 4.2.6 and it worked as advertised as a WFi hotspot with WPA Security but after I reinstalled MiWi after Jailbreaking with sn0wbreeze I have found that the MyWi app will no longer provide an infrastructure hotspot nor will it provide anything other than WEP security. Any thoughts?
