iTunes/App Store down?
Looks like Apple is having some trouble with the iTunes and App Stores today, as tons of you are telling us you're getting that nasty little "could not complete request" error message above. Whether or not it has anything to do with the the ginormous new Data Center, or the coming iCloud, we don't know and can't tell you, but we're keeping an eye on things and will update as we get more info.
In the meantime, let us know if you're having the problem and, more importantly, when you get your access back!

I installed a some apps about two hours ago now nothing won't let me log in back in updates wouldn't install it took you to the home screen the updates just stalled and cancelled.
And this is just another plus to have a 64 gig iPhone, and not rely FULLY on cloud storage...
I would say it's down now. No apps downloading on any device at this time.
Neither would music or films on any of my devices it's down.
Can't do anything! Restored iPhone thinking mine was the problem.

Huh I wasn't aware google had any similar service like itunes. O that's right they don't. Go to android central and troll there.
That's why android users have to have spare battery in their pocket when it dies and download an app killer to save battery power lol
I just updated two apps and installed one new one on my iPhone 4 with no issues. Maybe this is a Mac/PC only problem?
I'm not having any problems... just updated my iMovie and Foursquare with no problems.

You don't know how to use FUBAR properly. This is not that big of a deal. It's a minor inconvenience.
iOS downlads were broken for at least an hour. Don't know when it started but it appears to be working again as of 2:08pm CDT.

It seems to be back now. Either it was SkyNet becoming self-aware, or Jobs flicked the switch on the data centre.

Its back - came up this evening. But had to go in and reconfigure my account before I could D/L any updates.
i had the same problem had to go update all fields in my account and it worked again
The Mac App store is all messed up now... I try to download something and the button says "JS.DA.BUYBUTTON.INSTALL" instead of "Download" or whatever. Sheesh! This better mean something awesome is coming on Monday! :p

Today is 11June and I can't even access the App Store - when I tap on the icon all I get is a blank grey screen. :-(
friday june 10 and early am june 11 I can't access itunes to purchase anything

Thursday, June 23rd. I'm having this error while i'm trying to purchase one song. I also tried purchasing a .99 cent app, and the same error message comes up. Aggravating.
This is more then "just" annoying. Switching music providers is the answer.
Today is July 12 and I can't access iTunes or the app store. This sucks!
