Did Apple delay Facebook's new iPhone app, iPad app and iOS web platform?

Facebook has reportedly had their iPad app ready to go for some time and may have been planning its announcement around Apple's Lets Talk iPhone event this past Tuesday. Same goes for their iOS web platform Project Spartan. Robert Scoble suggested last night that Steve Jobs passing may have had something to do with Facebook's non-announcement.

Today a guy I know at Facebook told me that Apple just "went dark" this weekend and stopped answering emails and phone calls (they had amazing new iPhone and iPad apps and a new developer platform all ready for announcing). Folks inside Facebook thought they had done something massively wrong. No, they hadn't. Truth is you had something deeper to deal with.

If that's the case, and Facebook really does have a new Facebook for iPhone, Facebook for iPad, and web platform for iOS ready to go, could we still see it soon?

Find it strange his time of death, day of death, and cause wasn't released. Just a statement. Oh well. Aslong as something shady isn't afoot.
Atleast we still have Jon Rubinstein and Jony.

really...? can't you at least give it a week before starting the conspiracy theories?

Are you new to this planet? What could you possibly need to know about his death that wasn't already readily available? Nothing shady "was afoot". The dude had pancreatic cancer for almost a decade, and had had an organ transplant two years ago. He was ill, and fought like hell, and proved that even all the money in the world cannot change the course of nature sometimes.

My bet is that the apps/project spartan are around the corner and that deep Facebook integration into the iOS (Á La twitter) will be the first major addition to come along via the new OTA Delta updates.
I expect apple to become more aggressive in feature additions to drive the buzz around the iOS platform.
