Rumor: Apple to redesign iPad, iPhone, MacBook Air, and iMac next year?

Randomly accurate rumor site Digitimes has pair of stories up saying that Apple may be looking to re-design the iPad, iPhone, MacBook Air, and iPad next year. This according to "upstream supply chain" sources.

Apple has asked makers in the supply chain to develop flat panel modules and LED light bars for two iPad prototypes, codenamed J1 and J2, the sources revealed.

Stranger still:

Apple's new generation iPad will enter mass production soon with the launch set for March 2012, according to sources from the upstream supply chain; however, the sources revealed that internally Apple does not view the new iPad product as iPad 3, but rather an upgraded iPad 2 and the real iPad 3 will not be launched until the third quarter of 2012 at the earliest.

iPad 3 likely will ship when Apple can make Retina display panels cheaply enough, at high enough yield rates, to make sense.

Yeah I don't believe any rumors anymore. Not after the 4S came out. Only if they find something in a bar.

If a site is RANDOMLY ACCURATE then it is MOSTLY WRONG. Rumors are rumors and guesses are guesses and like anything else, YOU GUESS ENOUGH TIMES THEN YOU GET SOMETHING RIGHT!
If a site is randomly accurate rumor site then it's really just reporting someones guesses that came from someone else.
Let's face it, THE NATIONAL INQUIRER is Randomly Accurate, ARE WE TO TRUST EVERYTHING THEY REPORT ??????

First I'm not your 'bro'. Secondly it is a fair point. They are acknowledging that their source just throws out rumors. Then people get all wet and excited looking for a redesign or for this feature that might not exist and then they feel let down.
So yeah you get over it. The claim to be a NEWS SOURCE and claim to be No.1, if they are then why are they so reliant on posting crap from sources such as digit times and they using the cop out of Randomly Accurate Rumor site?
So STFU with your Bro and Get over it!

If people are getting all "wet and exciting" from a post form a randomly accurate site, than it's their problem, bro.

I don't think Rene should have used "randomly" anyway. I think "occasionally accurate" would have been a more appropriate term to use in this instance.

Apple generates clicks - Thats why all blogs report on stories like this. When people stop caring, blogs will stop posting it.
I think Apple would be smart to do an iPad 2S next year. Upgrade the internals and leave the shell mostly the same. Their marketing is good enough to support that and they have ZERO competition in the tablet market.
Why was waste a gigantic upgrade on a market that couldn't even compete with an Ipad 2. A 2S would perform just fine, and would buy apple some additional time.

This is how those iPhone 5 rumors started. "reliable sources". Then people developed expectations and then were let down when the 4S showed up.
