iPhone 5 battery life meets (and sometimes exceeds) iPhone 4S
Yet another tidbit about the iPhone 5 coming out of today's big Apple event is that the new LTE-enabled smartphone will match or even exceed the iPhone 4S battery life, despite being slimmer and running faster. Browsing and talking on cellular networks gives you 8 hours, while the iPhone 5 can handle 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing or video, 40 hours of music, or 225 hours of standby. By comparison, the iPhone 4S is advertised as handling 8 hours of talk time, 200 hours standby, 6 hours of browsing on 3G, 9 hours on Wi-Fi, 10 hours of video, and 40 hours of music.
Sounds like a solid improvement to me! There's still a lot going on in our live coverage of the iPhone 5 announcement, so stick around!

They failed to mention the battery size but given how thin it is, I highly doubt it's any special. If it was, Phil would have spent more time talking about it. Personally, I'm disappointed.
Yeah, just meeting the old specs doesn't cut it. Form over function. Again.
its only 1440 mghz battery lmao thats not gonna last
A what?
I think you mean mAH. And also, I somehow doubt they match it. Nobody knows how these tests are conducted so it's all hearsay until we get our hands on the thing.
