I would consider the iPad Mini (or whatever it's called) to be more for reading and content consumption than the current versions which are quickly moving towards being powerful devices for creation. It's a Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD competitor, but it's made by Apple, so it'll be a success...

The idea of apple making a 7inch Ipad is great. Think about all the woman who would like to have something light, thin and beautiful in their purse. Think about all the metro rider and business man who would like to have a laptop and an ipad in the same brief case. I wish they could have one version which is Wi-Fi and Cellular LTE capable where you can pop up a sim card to use on the go and use it at home easily. I love this idea. As for the price hopefully it will be around $350 to $400 for a 32gb. It will be a best seller.

I've been waiting for this size since before the initial iPad announcement. I didn't buy the iPad 1 because it was too big. I did buy the iPad 2 after it was announced and love it, but it's still too big for me... I can hardly wait!!!

I'm still not convinced Apple will start again with a "mini" designation but fingers crossed this new 7.85" iPad can keep time better (current iOS 6 bug) than my Verizon iPhone 5. :)
