it is really painful to watch the show. Everyone (except Rene) just kept on bashing Apple for the whole show. Like "The best Map Ever". I don't think Scott said that exactly. I remember he only said that it is the best looking map ever made. Even if he did say that, so what? Every spokesmen from companies said their products are the best. What so funny saying about that for the whole show? Are they going to do that for every products from every companies? If yes, what's the point of watching the show for them kept bashing what spokesmen said? If no, then why did they just pick Apple for doing that?
They kept bashing iPad mini price is too high and how low price and cool are the Nexus 7 and Fire HD. Fine, they are very good as a no-profit product. Apple cannot make a no-profit product. They have retail store expenses, no real ad revenue (unlike Google), world R&D cost (just look at all the copycats from Smartphone industry). If you have a hardware problem of your Apple product, you could go to the retail store for a replacement or service. Good luck for your Nexus or Fire.
As a long time Apple customer and stock investor, I don't want Apple to go to cut throat business. I think every companies should innovate by themselves and if you don't and want to buy market with no-profit products especially if the company stock money could cover that. That's not very healthy to the industry or consumer. This is exactly like Microsoft killing Netscape by giving out IE for free when people at that time needed to pay for internet browser software.
