Live from CES 2013, we talk to Nectar about their fuel cell for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and anything other USB powered device. Nectar is composed of a single unit with a replaceable fuel cell, so you can take it with you, charge for up to 2 weeks, then change cells and keep on going.
How does it look to you? Is it small enough that you'd carry it around in a bag or even leave it in your car? How appealing are the replaceable butane power cells?

Seems cool, but with that high of a price tag I think I would rather look at solar options if I was going to be stranded somewhere...not to mention it doesn't seem very economical in a world that is still pushing to go green.
I could see limited applications for this type of device. If you have a job that requires you to be out in the field for extended periods of time, I'm thinking scientists engineers in areas without access to a power supply. I have to agree with the commenter above that I would look into a solar powered option as well. The cost is pretty expensive.

Why not just buy a phone, use it and when it runs out of battery toss it and buy another one? Clearly they did zero market research. I bet they will sell like 2 of them.
