GoComics brings all your favorite comic strips directly to your iPhone and iPad

If you're a fan of classic comic strips such as Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, and Peanuts, GoComics is bringing them directly to your iPhone and iPad. You can easily browse through tons of different current comic strips along with older ones as well.

GoComics is already available for download and contains not only up to date strips that are updated regularly, but old favorites that go back as far as the '50's. You also have the option to purchase a Pro subscription as an in-app purchase that will remove all advertising and give you unlimited access to archives, collections, and sharing strips. Pro subscriptions also offer better email support with your comics sent to your inbox on a regular basis when new ones are available. A Pro subscription runs either $1.99 a month or $15.99 for a full year.

Great! I like Calvin and Hobbes, Foxtrot, and some of the others in there. Now I've got an easy way to pop one up when I like. Though the calendar in the app is a bit odd. E.g. you can pull up a Calvin and Hobbes with a date of April 3, 2013 on it, which was drawn in 1993. Maybe the date shown in the app is the date they featured that strip? It'd be great if the strips were tagged with the date they were first published instead, but that may be asking too much of a free app.
