Twitterrific 5 goes iOS 7, enhances support for Chrome, Reading List, more

Twitterrific by the Iconfactory has been updated to better reflect the new iOS 7 design language. And if you thought it fit in before, you ain't seen nothing yet. Starting with a fantastic frosted Ollie splash screen, and moving into a bevy of design and programming touches simple but profound, with Twitterrific 5.5 the Iconfactory actually managed to make a great, future-thinking app even better.

Along for the ride are some new features as well, including support for opening links in Chrome for iOS, Reading List bookmarking, mobilizer view by default, iOS 7-style gesture navigation for the sidebar, and more.

Twitterrific is a Hall of Famer for a reason. The first iOS social app, it remains not only one of the best, but one of the most relevant.

Free update, cheap purchase If you're looking for the best Twitter reading experience, and one that meshes harmoniously into iOS 7 in every way, check it out now.

Twitterrific 5 goes iOS 7, enhances support for Chrome, Reading List, more

Would love to try it, but I'm having issues connecting to the iTunes Store. I guess everyone is trying to download the new Angry Birds Star Wars game.

I love Tweetbot, but, sadly, going into an iOS 6 app is very jarring now. I'm tempted to try Twitterrific (been thinking about it ever since version 5 came out), but I <3 Tweetbot.

Ugh! Decisions!

I've moved from Tweetbot to Twitterrific, I just prefer the clean UI. Tweetbot is supposed to have an update coming though.
