Gmail, other Google Apps experiencing service disruptions and outages, are you affected?

Some Google Apps experiencing service disruptions and outages

It appears that Google is having trouble with some of their services, including Gmail. Gmail did experience a complete outage, though Google says that service has been restored to several users, and now it, Google Documents, and Google Presentations users are seeing service disruptions. Google expects full service to be restored within the hour.

Some of us have taken to cutting and pasting email into IM as a work around. Reminds us how dependent we've all become on Google! Are you having trouble accessing Google Apps?

Yes I've had a few complete outages today, and all day it's been a series of delayed emails, some coming just now were timestamped 8am. says:

No problem here -- sending/receiving, or syncing.

Ziltoid says:

I can't even get exchange gmail to work since I bought the 5s. I read through some forums that they stopped supporting it but then others say they made it work through various ways which none have worked for me. Sucks because now I'm stuck using the gmail app or setting up mail using gmail but no push

kch50428 says:

Yeah, Google stopped supporting push for iOS devices a long time ago unless you're paying for mail hosting... fetch or the gmail app it is...

kenefick says:

I switch to outlook that has push emails. I have my gmails forward to outlook.

(Actually, I am loving iCloud.)

impaler says:

iCloud is not free of blame for outages, to say the least. However, for ease of ecosystem and the synergistic effects of putting all my eggs in one virtual basket, I've switched to iCloud email over the last year. Still like using my .mac address.
