TiPb Give-Away: Navigon MobileNavigator and Macworld Guided Tour!

Don't buy anything from Navigon! When these asshats decided to stop selling devices in the US they also abandoned phone support for all of the people that had bought their devices, and email support is virtually non-existent. I am looking forward to seeing them at MacWorld to tell them how much they suck face to face.

@mrcre8tiv: Freedom of Speech is a beautiful and adoreable right in the free world. BUT the way you misuse it is simply despicable.
You cannot blame a company for leaving a market in US, and if you would try to use the offered customer support services by navigon, you would immediately figure out, that they deliver great products with excellent service.

I often drive to and from FL which is straightforward, but once in FL I love to explore! So, yes, please, I'd LOVE to win Navigon!

@JusticeForAll : This is not true. I'm with mrcre8tiv on this: Navigon gives NO support at all. I bought their iPhone app when it was released and had only crash and memory leaks problems with it on my iPhone 3GS - always under the latest OS. I wrote them a dozen of time (and always in a very polite way) thru all consumer support inputs possible and they NEVER reply, never. So, I'm not sure where you get this information when you say: "try to use the offered customer support services by navigon, you would immediately figure out, that they deliver great products with excellent service." but it's a lie. Do you work for them or what? Personally, I avoid the Navigon brand now.

I bought the Navigon for iPhone. Yes it has a great interface but the directions it provides are terrible, constantly taking me off major roads whatever the route settings are, and it even tells me to turn left onto a dual-carriageway near Ipswich when you need to turn right!! Also the maps are out of date and they have only ever updated them once in 12 months. I have contacted them and all they suggest is reloading it. Very unhappy customer!
