Major League Baseball's App for the iPhone has been in the news due to a price drop -- and the little controversy surrounding it's seasonal expiry -- as of late. Well, now Apple has thrown a huge spotlight onto it again, this time likely hoping to ride the playoff popularity wave.

It's been a while since our last Today on the Forums post, but hopefully today's topics will make up for it.

Today on the forums we have some great ideas from Alienwhere, who would like to see some more integration with his iPhone and his Mac. I agree... Check out some of his ideas and add to them if you can.

Yet another iPhone related lawsuit only this time it does not involve Apple... shocking isn't it?

Coors beer company is being sued by Hottrix, creators of the strangely popular iBeer app for a cool 12.5 million for copyright infringement. The lawsuit alleges that Coors copied its iPhone application iBeer. Both Hottrix's App and Coors' iPint simply create the illusion of beer being poured out when a user tilts the handset as if the user is drinking it. The only major difference between the two apps is that iBeer costs $3 and iPint was free - it has been pulled from the App Store by Apple.

No love from Apple for the iPhone today, despite glass trackpads, with multi-touch being introduced into the MacBook line. We have a transcript of our full meta-live blog coverage available now if you want the details, but the broad strokes are all in aluminum and black. The long-standing rumors mostly came true, with design unified around the current iMac model -- with a gorgeous new 24" Cinema Display being a near kissing-cousin to last year's desktop rev.

15" MacBook Pro and MacBook's available now-ish. Air's to follow soon (November?). Rumor has it there are issues with the 17", so we may only see those later.
