Apple has just announced their heavily rumored radio streaming service, iTunes Radio live from WWDC 2013. iTunes Radio will tie directly into the Music app. The service will be free, but ad-based, unless you have an iTunes Match subscription, where you'll be excused from listening to ads.

Just demonstrated at WWDC 2013, Siri has had a makeover and an upgrade for the newly announced iOS 7. Now included in Siri is Bing results, Wikipedia, Twitter, and Siri can control more of the device than ever before. It can adjust your screen brightness, turn on and off Bluetooth, and more besides. Siri also has a new male and female voice, and has had a UI overhaul in fitting with the rest of iOS 7.

iOS 7 is bringing with is webOS style cards for multitasking instead of the current switcher we've had since the debut of multitasking in iOS 4.

Apple demoed a new weather application that will be included in iOS 7 today, and it's looking great. Everything is following the new overall flat user interface, with sharp lines and a simple layout.

Having been rumored leading upto WWDC 2013, Apple has officially announced that AirDrop wireless sharing will indeed be coming to iOS devices with iOS 7. The big caveat is that due to hardware requirements, it will only be available on iPhone 5, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad mini and iPad 4.

"Can't innovate any more, my ass," was Phil Schiller's comment after introducing the new Mac Pro on a video at the WWDC keynote stage.

iOS 7 has eschewed natural-looking textures for all of its apps, including iBooks and Newsstand. The wooden shelves that have been a part of both of these since they launched have been replaced with a more modern look unified with the rest of iOS.

Safari is going to receive quite a few updates in iOS 7 including an updated tab view, new gestures, and more.

During WWDC 2013, Apple announced Control Center in iOS 7 that brings quick access to common settings including airplay mode, wifi, bluetooth, and Do Not Disturb. Additionally, Control Center includes a slider to adjust brightness, as well as media controls, Airplay, and recently used apps.

Notification Center has been updated and improved for iOS 7, and now, it will be available right from the lock screen with no need to unlock the phone first. There's a today view of notifications, with calendar, stocks, other current updates, all of which are available from the lockscreen. And, in keeping with the new design, the Notificiation Center tray has ditched the old look and feel and is now has a translucent background that shows the wallpaper behind.
