Crimson: Steam Pirates for iPad now available

Bungie Aerospace Corporation has released their first iPad game, Crimson: Steam Pirates. It's a turn-based strategy game with a hint of action.

Command your fleet and your Steampunk crew using an elegant action interface. Crimson: Steam Pirates' turn-based gameplay provides an addicting mixture of strategy and action as you anticipate your enemies' moves and counter them, luring them into a deadly hail of weapons fire while uncovering the mystery brewing in the Caribbean.

  • 8 voyages that begin the tale of Thomas Blood’s adventures in the Caribbean
  • 2 “Pass-and-Play” multiplayer scenarios
  • Over a dozen types of ships, subs, and airships
  • Over 20 unique crew members whose special abilities enhance gameplay

Crimson: Steam Pirates is available on the iPad for free and includes the first chapter. The second chapter is available as an in-app purchase for $1.99 and other chapters will be available in future updates.

While it is a nice app, it is a blatant clone of SteamBirds.
I also think that the first campaign (haven't gone further yet) is too easy.
