Don't forget, Apple's 12 Days of Gifts starts today!

Christmas may be done for another year, but Apple's gift giving begins today as the 12 Days of Gifts app has delivered its first treat. If you're in a location where the app is available, go ahead and fire it up and see what Apple has for you, which here in the UK is a live, iTunes Festival download by Justin Timberlake.

The offerings could differ by region, so if you're seeing something different, drop it into the comments below and let us know what you're seeing. And, if you haven't yet downloaded the app, there's still time, so go ahead and grab it at the App Store link below!

This is true but at least with apps and games more people would give them a try being they're free. I know myself and a lot of other people a don't like Justin Timberlake or that kind of music so it won't be downloaded at all.

That being said I'm not complaining, I think
It's pretty cool what they're doing. Just making an observation.

Some folks (me included) will try anything if it's free. And I'm no JT fan ;-)

Same for the PH AppStore. Hoping for a nicer gift tomorrow. Still, thanks Apple!

joshrocker says:

I had to chuckle as there was already a 1 star rating because someone didn't approve of the free gift. Not a Timberlake fan personally, so I won't be downloading.

They shouldn't have the gifts be music, there is such a vast difference in music taste between everyone.

Richard Devine says:

Same with apps, movies, books. No one has the same taste in anything. Apple doesn't have to give stuff for free, and they're never going to please everyone. But we shouldn't complain :)

Not being a Timberlake fan, I would have been more inclined to download studio released versions of these song over the live cuts.

I'm not a fan, nor do I dislike JT, but I'll download almost any music free, then delete it from my device if I don't like it. I'm a DJ, and you never know what weird stuff people will ask/pay you to play. If I need the music later I can play it from the cloud or re-download it.

It would be good if it were apps or ringtones not music since there are a lot of music sites out there and it doesnt matter if it is pirated as long as in high quality.

2nd gift from the PH AppStore - Tiny Thief (game). Great game but I thought this one has already gone free for this holiday season (so maybe it was Apple's doing after all).

(Sorry, dunno why this was posted as a reply.)

Gsarfin says:

What's with gift 2? A full season of a 3 year old show from abc for $24.99??? Wtf? Never heard of it, but I bet I can watch it free on Hulu+!

It's just the pilot that's free......Aren't the pilots of shows often free anyway?

geoff885 says:
