State of the Jailbreak: iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 5 beta

We're getting a lot of questions from Jailbreakers and would-be Jailbreakers both on iOS 4.x and iOS 5 so we figured it was time to once again take a look at the state of iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Jailbreak. Here it is:

If you still have an untethered Jailbreak on iOS 4.3.3 or below and want to stay untethered, don't upgrade just yet.

If you've already updated and you currently have a tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.5, you'll probably have to stay tethered until the release version of iOS 5 drops this October.

Why not? Because if they release an untethered Jailbreak based on an exploit in iOS 5 beta, Apple could easily patch it in the next beta and it's back to square one.

I'm currently on iOS 5 beta and personally can't wait to have my jailbreak back. iOS 5 is a major improvement but I still miss apps like Mail Enhancer and SBSettings. I'd much rather wait and have an untethered jailbreak for the iOS 5 final release than a quick fix now that Apple kills off during the beta.

State of the Jailbreak: iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 5 beta

I'm kind of wondering why you're on iOS 5 beta. Wouldn't you agree that a jb iphone on 4.3.3 is much better?
Besides, the state of the jb is this. You'll buy an iphone 5 and have to wait (and wait) for one. You won't care if iOS 5 can be jb on an iphone 4.

No, I for one wouldn't agree. A jailbroken 4.3.3 iOS device can do many of the things that a Non-Jailbroken iOS 5 device can do but the difference is in implementation. Apple vs JB Devs. Apple wins especially when they hire those jb Devs. There are a few things I miss about my jailbroken device but I like iOS more than I miss them. I am already getting bored with iOS 5 though. Time to JB iOS 5 prolly.

That is exactly why I went back to iOS 4... Once the free personal hotspot for the vz iphone was taken away with beta 3 i figured i'd rather be on a jailbroken ios 4.

True that..the cat and mouse game sometimes is so infuriating that I feel I am better off staying off jailbroken with an older iOS than move to the latest non-jailbroken version.

And I am not an expert but already know better than this post tells us.
First, I have an iphone 4 with 4.3.3 untethered JB, so its 4.3.3 or below, not 4.3.2.
Second, ios 5 beta is jailbreakable but tethered, I had it and it was fine.
You can argue about what you had in mind, not considering tethered JB at all, but we are not in your head to know what you had in mind. Give us the facts.

Why have you referred to the writer as "Mister" for starters and secondly, the 4.3.2 issue was most likely just a mistake, they do happen you know and I would of thought that Allyson either is jailbroke on the beta or, like a lot of people, doesn't like a tethered jailbrake as it isn't convenient if you need to reboot or the battery dies and you don't have access to a computer .. Tbh I see you crying about things but none of them are valid, your rant was a waste of your time and mine for that matter.
