Facebook for iOS updated with OpenTable support for restaurant reservations, better hashtag support, and more

Facebook for iOS has just been updated with a few new features for both iPhone and iPad users including the ability to tap on hashtags to view more on that specific topic, options to make restaurant reservations at participating locations in the US, and a cleaner timeline interface for iPad users.

Restaurant reservations are now provided for participating locations through full OpenTable integration. The Facebook app for Android also now supports restaurant reservations without having to transfer to a different app. Just select how many are in your party and what time and you're done.

If you download the update and notice any other changes, let us know in the comments.

Help and how to editor for iMore. I can take apart an iPhone in less than 6 minutes. I also like coffee and Harry Potter more than anyone really should.
